Camp Live Oak is now taking reservations for the Oct 2023 Annular Solar Eclipse!  

Currently all cabins are booked for the April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. Please click below to join our waitlist and to be contacted in the event of a reservation cancellation. 

We are in the path of totality ( 4 min 24 seconds in April 2024)! We have 8 cabins within a 1/4m walk to the Frio River on our property. 2 cabins sleep up to 8 people and 6 cabins sleep up to 6. We have a large open field for unobstructed viewing of the eclipses. We are only allowing the guests of our 8 cabins on the 25+ acre property to enjoy a crowd-free viewing. Each cabin has a BBQ pit and fire ring. See the "Cabin and Camp Layout" page for cabin descriptions and sleeping arrangements.

The Eclipse rates are as follows:

For October 2023 Annular Solar Eclipse cabins #1-4 (each sleep 5 max) and cabins #5 & 6 (each sleep 6 max) there is a 2 night minimum at $350 per night. For cabins #7 & 8 (each sleeps 8 max) there is a 2 night minimum at $480 per night.  

For the April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse cabins #1-4 (each sleep 5 max) and cabins #5 & 6 (each sleep 6 max) there is a 3 night minimum at $425 per night. For cabins #7 & 8 (each sleeps 8 max) there is a 3 night minimum at $550 per night. **Currently all cabins are booked for the April 2024 eclipse. Dogs are welcome for a non-refundable $20 per night, per dog fee. 3 dogs per cabin max allowed. All dogs must remain on leashes when outside.

A deposit of one night's rental is required (credit card or cash accepted). Balance is due upon arrival for all days reserved (credit cards or cash only). Deposit will be forfeited if you cancel less than 60 days prior to arrival date. No refunds will be granted due to weather.
