What are the seasons?

    Peak Season - : May 20th through Labor Day
Reservations require a 3 day minimum during the peak season.
    Regular Season - : March 1st through May19th and the Tuesday after Labor Day through Thanksgiving weekend.
Reservations require a 2 day minimum during the Regular Season.
    Winter Season - : Monday after Thanksgiving Weekend through February 28.

Do you offer tent camping sites?

No, we only offer cabin rentals. We have 8 cabins available for rent.

Do you have RV parking or hookups?

No, we do not have any RV hookups or space for RV parking.

Do you allow pets?

Yes, we allow well-behaved dogs on leashes.  Please clean up after your pet! There is an additional fee for pets.

Is there river access on the property?

YES! The walk (or drive) from the cabins to the swimming hole is approximately ¼ mile.

What is provided in the cabins?

Each cabin has bedding, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, oven & stove. Each cabin also has it’s own BBQ pit & fire ring outside.

Do you have televisions in the cabins?

No, we hope you enjoy the beauty the Texas Hill Country has to offer while you are visiting us. We have free Wi-Fi available on the property.

Can I go fishing on the property?

Yes, guests may fish on the property. Bring your fishing gear and license and show off your catch!

Why are the cabin numbers out of order?

Grandfather Holmes numbered cabins 1 through 6 (with 1 closer to the river, and 6 closer to the highway) when the cabins were first built. Not wanting to cross karma, the numbering for 1 through 6 remained the same when Camp Live Oak was reopened in 2001 and cabins 7 & 8 were added at the end.
